Venerable Paldrön began her Dharma practice in the mid 1970s when she and her children moved to a Thai Forest monastery in NSW, supporting Western monks and nuns and receiving teachings from Thai Ajahns & Burmese Sayadaws.
After living some time in a Dzogchen community in Italy, Venerable Paldrön found her teacher, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and took ordination in 1999. After ordination she lived at Chenrezig nuns’ community and travelled to Mexico as a resident teacher.
Venerable Paldrön’s focus is on providing a welcoming and encouraging environment for beginners and experienced students alike. Her meditation emphasises the development of clarity & awareness. She is well loved in the Blue Mountains community.
