For more than 30 years yoga has been a touchstone in my life. In the early years it gave me physical strength and pain relief. Without any conscious planning yoga began to support my mental health and spiritual life. I found communities of yogis to live my life with. Along the way I have been lucky to study with the Iyengar family in India, Caroline Coggins, TKV Desikachar and Stephanie Quirk. I am a qualified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, have studied yoga therapy, and trauma informed yoga. I have a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters in Social Work. I have a regular yoga, meditation and mindfulness practice.
When I teach I want to share what I have learned and to be with fellow seekers in a space that allows us all to breathe, be and grow on this amazing path that is yoga.
